Young of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts approve a class action settlement in the case Doulamis, et al. v. The Boston Institute for Psychotherapy, Inc., et al., Civil Action No. 04-11434-WGY. The case alleged violations of the Massachusetts Wage Act, G. L. c. 149, § 148, the Massachusetts Independent Contractor Statute, G. L. c. 149, § 148B and other common law causes of action. The defendants in the case deny any wrongdoing and believe they have acted in compliance with their obligations.
